The Friends' Place

Welcome to the Friends' Place. The Friends' Place is a used book store and gift shop managed by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library and is located in the Burton Barr Central Library. We sell all kinds of new and used books, albums, calendars, greeting cards, and a variety of other wonderful items. We have many hard to find and one of a kind books and records, along with popular titles and a large selection of calendars and greeting cards. NEW HOURS!! As of Monday April 5, 2010 The Friends' Place will have new operating hours. The Friends' Place is located in the east entry of the Burton Barr Central Library, our hours are:

Monday: 9am - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 11am - 6:30pm
Wednesday: 11am - 6:30pm
Thursday: 11am - 6:30pm
Friday: 9am - 4:30pm
Saturday: 9am - 4:30pm
Sunday: 1pm - 4:30pm

Member Mondays

In appreciation for all the support our members have given us, we are now offering Member Mondays at The Friends' Place.  Every Monday at The Friends' Place beginning Feb. 9th, all used books, music and movies are all 50% off for all members.  That's right, every Monday half off all used books, music and movies for members.
